Thursday, October 30, 20081:24 PM Welfare & Class outing Hi guys! As we all know, birthday's are an important part of our lives. So, what I have decided is to set up a Welfare Team. Their main job would be to get presents or plan a small party for all the birthday pple. To make it convenient, we would have a monthly mini celebration for those whoes bday fall in the same month. or we would get an indiviual present. Money would come from the class funds and documented accordingly. I would like to nominate Li Ping to be in charge of this team. Li Ping, can you get an assistant who is not holding on to any role currently to help you with this? Thanks Another thing is our class outing, i know everybody is busy with lots of stuff but i hope this time round we can make an effort to do some group bonding. Ideal date for class bonding session is 6th Dec 08 Fri or 12th Dec 08 Fri. (After lessons) Some suggestions 1) Cycling/roller blading @ East Coast Beach 2) Bowling session 3) Ice Skating @Kallang Leisure Park 4) Snow City! 5) Picnic by the park Can all the group leaders help collate everybody's preference or other suggestions by Mid- Nov? I will remind everyone again as the date draws closer. Collection of donations is not mandatory and if you don't feel obliged to, please return it with at least a personal donation, and not an empty envelope. On the other hand, those who are eager to collect donations, please be informed that you can only approach people that you know(ie. not strangers). No soliciting at public places because you'll need a license for that. Last one, loss of donation card is a very serious matter.You'll have to report the loss to the police immediately together with the serial no. of your card. That's all. Please do take care of the cards. And... Go forth and collect donations! =))) staph☺

10:32 AM Reminders hello classmates! i've updated the ICA Dates post with the new dates for HS1098. 1st ICA is coming up next week! please do get ready your shoulder pad for lab from tomorrow onwards. You had the weekend to get it and sew on the stitches and the drainage tube. =) and please prepare your stuff for HS1093 from Thursday onwards! Stethoscope, pen torch etc. Look at the HS1093 previous post for reference. Do be informed that from this Thursday onwards, all pieces of work during our assessment of our partners will have to be handed in! Remember! last one. a very gentle reminder to everyone to observe decorum whenever anyone, or any group for the matter is presenting something. i believe any one/group up there presenting would very much appreciate if everyone put in a little effort to do so. that's all for now!(phew!) staph☺

Tuesday, October 21, 200810:28 PM Order for Textbook and others Hi guys, Please get ready the payment for the Physical examination & health assesment by Jarvis. C by 28th oct 2008 tues. I should be getting the books by Week 3. Exact date still not confirm but anymore delay, I will call the vendor to complain personally. :) Gao Min is our new class treasurer. Please give her $2 by end of this week (week 2) for this semester's collection. Class funds will be used for class outing or to buy extra notes that might be required for lessons. So please do contribute. Thus far, the stationary that has been bought and I know of is, some transparency and markers. They will be distributed equally to the 4 sub-groups. I would like to take a class photo to add in our very plain blog, so can we all stay back this Fri (24th oct) for a short while to take one? Dress up if you want to look good!!!!!! Mustafa Centre has cheap $20+ ones, and even the $99 good ones.) - Non-permanent/water soluble ink marker - Recommended textbook Audrey has already contacted the vendor for the textbooks.We expect that the books will arrive in Wk 3 or thereabouts.
